TOPIC: Managing Roads Services
The 2022 Roads Services Training Group Annual Conference took place on 17th & 18th of May, 2022 in The Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Sligo
There continues to be many demands in terms of maintaining and improving the regional and local road network. The main focus of the regional and local road investment programme is the maintenance of the network including resealing of road surfaces along with road and bridge rehabilitation works. In addition, under the National Development Plan a number of new projects are being constructed. The Conference will provide a context to investment in roads by reference to developments in relation to Climate Change, Public Transport and Accessibility. It will also seek to provide an update to delegates on the current activities in the roads sector and initiatives underway. It is intended to address issues relating to the following areas;
